The Chapala municipal government has finally dotted the i’s and crossed the t’s for several major projects slated as the current administration’s hallmark public works.
State and federal agencies that will kick in funding have approved blueprints for the following “big three” projects:

Substitution of underground water and sewage lines, repair of sidewalks and new street surface in stamped concrete, running between Paseo Ramón Corona and Calle Degollado. Investment: 25 million pesos from Jalisco’s Ministry of Infrastructure and Public Works (SIOP) under FOCOCI (common fund for municipalities), reassigned from the renewal project for the Malecón commercial zone that was rejected by the National Water Commission.
