Guadalajara city hall is issuing free alarms to convenience stores and other retail businesses to inform police of burglaries in progress.
The program, “Negocio en contacto,” allows employees to trigger a silent alarm via the internet to summon police officers within minutes. The alarm will also be available to bars and restaurants in the Avenida Vallarta and Chapultepec areas. Those interested should call (33)1201-6070.
