A series of terror classics from Universal Studios is on the bill each Friday in October at the Ex-Convento del Carmen (Avenida Juarez 635, one block from Federalismo). Show times are 4, 6 and 8 p.m. Tickets at 25 pesos.

Friday, October 14: “Frankenstein” (1931) with Boris Karloff.
Friday, October 21: “The Bride of Frankenstein” (1935) with Boris Karloff.
Friday, October 28: “The Invisible Man” (1933) with Claude Rains.
