Thursday recitals

Guadalajara city hall opens up its council chamber to invited musicians, choirs and groups.  The free performances start at 8 p.m. and are free of charge. Unfortunately, the program is often released too late for this newspaper to publish. However, on April 10, the recital will feature clarinetists Daniel Estrada Aguayo and Miguel Angel Ramírez Pérez with Jesús Olvera Contreras on guitar.

Presidencia Municipal (downtown Guadalajara), Thursdays, 8 p.m. Free. Just turn up.
